Dave’s role at Westchester is the Pastor of Spiritual Maturity.  His primary responsibility is to help adults grow in their relationship with God.

Dave joined the staff at Westchester in the fall of 2006.  Prior to Westchester, Dave ministered as a pastor in the Chicagoland area to three churches since his graduation from Bethel Seminary.

Dave and his wife Linda have three children.  Their oldest, Justin, is currently serving on a short-term missions team in Galati, Romania with the Word Made Flesh organization, while he is between youth pastor positions.  Karen is completing a six-month work-abroad opportunity in London, England. She has been invited to stay for another year. She works with a group of visa attorneys in downtown London. Daughter Shelly is a Junior at Northwestern College in Minnesota. She is pursuing a Physical Education Degree with a desire to become a Junior-High gym teacher.

Dave and Linda enjoy reading and traveling.  Dave’s favorite authors would be A.W. Tozer, Iain Murray, John Stott, James Boice and John Grisham. He particularly enjoys reading Christian classics, biographies, and anything about the American Civil War or Scotland.  They have great memories of vacationing in the National Parks with their children. They visited Scotland a couple of years ago to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. Recently they visited their daughter Karen in London and look forward to visiting her again this coming year.

God has wired Dave to be an encourager.  To him it is a life privilege to be able to help others take steps in their walk with God.
