The first thing is for you to attend Worship Services and events for a while so you can get a better idea and feel for what we are like.  If you like what you see, proceed to the next step that is a session called “101 Getting Acquainted” .  It provides an excellent opportunity to become familiar with who we are and is the prerequisite for becoming a member of Westchester Church. The class provides helpful information for building encouraging relationships in the church. In addition, this class assists new people in finding a good fit to serve in a ministry.  “101 Getting Acquainted” class is highly recommended for all people new to Westchester Church.  During the class sessions we explain what membership is and is not, and explain our membership process.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and plan to participate in ministry at Westchester Church, we encourage you to let others know about your faith in Christ and participation in His Church by becoming a member.

If you would feel led to become a member the next step would then be to fill out the Membership Application that was in the back of the booklet. (If you need an additional copy we can provide one.)  Following that, one of our elders will call you to arrange a time on a Sunday morning for a short meeting.  Our purpose is to introduce you to a few more of the leaders and give them a chance to get to know you.  At that occasion we love to hear a short version of your faith journey, and provide you the opportunity to ask any additional questions of our leaders.  That is not a real complex process.  The greater joy is seeing our family expanding as men and women feel led to unite with what God is doing here.
