Let’s Get Acquainted

SYNOPSIS:  This class is taught by Pastor Don Long and is the best way to learn about Westchester – our beliefs, vision and ministries. It’s also a prerequisite for church membership.

It is tough walking into a new church. Everyone who leaves their comfort zone and tries a new church is searching for something. That something is knowing God in a genuine way, and find a group of genuine people, that together we might “sort-out” life.

Our hope and prayer is that at Westchester you found a group of people who are enthusiastically committed to loving God and others. You probably assessed very quickly that we are not a perfect church.

Westchester 101 is a forum where you will:

• Hear how Westchester migh be a place where you can find close friends
• Discover who the pastors are and how they are ‘somewhat’ normal
• Find out why we believe the Bible contains answers for the questions of today
• Assess if Westchester might be a place than can become your church home

It is really intended to be a casual forum to investigate more about who we are, what we believe, and why we would love to have you as a part of the family. If you ever have an interest in becoming a member, this is a prerequisite for that process, also.

We would love to share how God is uniquely assembling people who are in awe of His great love, devoted to His unchanging Word, and expectantly anticipating the future that is ahead of us.

• If you are quiet, come and be quiet.
• If you have questions, come and ask questions.
• If you have needs, you will find we are open to meeting those needs.
• If you want to dive in and become part of shaping the future impact on our community, this is the place to begin.
